God Loves His Enemies |

I believe in everlasting punishment. I believe that for someone to be truly evil, it must be that they have no good motives, but all bad ones. If a person has no commitment to being righteous, and they are wicked only, they are judged according to John 3:16-21. I will quote this passage below.
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only [fn] begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only [fn] begotten Son of God. 19 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 "For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 "But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God." One more verse I will reference concerning the righteous and the wicked is found in John 3:36. Here it is: 36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey [fn] the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." Jesus commands people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love their neighbors as themselves. He also commands everyone to love their enemies. If a person does not love others properly, but is malicious against all people by being evil, the wrath of God abides on them. I believe that people that love truth obey Jesus, even if they don’t commonly hear his name in spoken language… even if they live in a distant galaxy or a place far far from our planet. I believe people obey Jesus by loving truth. If they love truth, they are righteous. If they are deluded and malicious, they are evil. I believe everlasting punishment is the sentence doled out to evil people. The reason that it is everlasting is because they have no commitment to ever be righteous at the time of their sentencing. If they ever repent out of being evil into loving the truth and so being righteous, they will no longer be under the sentence of everlasting punishment. They will have eternal life according to the principles found in Romans 2:4-11 about what God renders to people according to their present time deeds. To have eternal life in the present, a person must be persistent in doing good and in so doing seek for glory and honor and immortality. If, though, they are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, God and His Kingdom will render to them wrath and indignation.
